This is not about physical violence. It is about the complete surrender of our lives in service to God.

Have you considered the state of the modern Church today? Christians at large do not have reverence for the LORD, have one foot in the world, barely read their Bible, pray weak prayers, and are self-centered, not Christ-centered. These unfortunate realities begin to expose why the Body of Christ looks more like a social club than the mission-driven and Spirit-filled Church during the times of the Apostles.

Though most believers wouldn't compare their Christian life to a servicemember's role in the military, what lessons can be learned from the soldier who has sworn their life in service to their country? Do virtues like honor, obedience, and sacrifice describe your Christian walk? Have you forsaken everything from your past that is not compatible with the demands of serving God? Are you willing to give your life in the line of duty for Kingdom service if necessary?

Soldiers of Christ – Parallels of Christian and Military Service confronts this critical failure of the modern-day Church head-on by comparing a servicemember's life to what a Christian's life should look like.

PREPARING YOU TO BE A SAFEHOUSE FOR THE NATIONS

You shall dwell in the land of Goshen, and you shall be near to Me, you and your children, your children’s children, your flocks and your herds, and all that you have. There I will provide for you, you and your household.

Genesis 45:10-11

Michael Ledee is a graduate of Liberty University's Rawlings School of Divinity and a professor at North Florida Theological Seminary. Michael serves as Associate Pastor of Outreach at MorningStar Family Church in Middleburg, Florida, where he lives with his loving wife and five wonderful children.

When the plagues fell upon Egypt in the days of Moses, we read that the land of Goshen was untouched, because the LORD made a separation between His people and the Egyptians (Exodus 8:22-25). As a result of the LORD's protective hand, many Egyptians turned from the pagan gods to the One True God. When Israel left Egypt through the Red Sea (representing the end-time harvest), they left with the treasures of Egypt, and not one stumbled (Psalm 105:37).

It is our prayer at Goshen House that during these final days before the return of Yeshua, YOU would be a place (a Goshen) that the LORD prepares to be a safe house for the nations to run to, as evil is unleashed upon the earth.  This is the time to prepare your heart, build your faith, and walk in holiness as never before.

The mission of Goshen House is to produce materials that equip believers to strengthen and deepen their walk in the LORD, preparing them for the turbulent times ahead.
